Is there any low-cost airlines in mainland China to Beijing or Shanghai such as Ryanair and Air Aisa?
Is there any low–cost airlines in mainland China to Beijing or Shanghai such as Ryanair in Europe and Air Aisa in Southeast Asia?
Fares are regulated so any carrier will do. Air china and shanghai airlines are star alliance so you can earn united miles with them. Airlines don’t have as much corruption problems since the central gvt is watching them real closely, especially air china, the flag carrier.
If u have the cash, go for first or business class, it’s only 1.5 and 1.3 times the coach price respectively. I flew business once on a flight that was 5 hrs delayed and getting to wait in the lounge and in the business cabin was so tranquil compared to the chaos of coach, an I only paid like $30 more than coach. It’s a whole new world flying business or first class, I tell ya.
Why do low cost airlines go bust when they charge us fuel surcharges?
Another “low cost airline” has gone bust…reason quoted, the rise in the cost of fuel…can someone explain to me how this can be the case… when the airlines always expect us to pay the fuel surcharges!
Has anyone experienced a case where an airline has reduced the cost…because the cost of fuel went down??
As they slap on the fuel surcharge (which they really have no choice to do in order to stay afloat), the net cost for the client is increased, thus reducing demand. Less demand, less sold tickets, less airlines in operation.
