Your Questions About Title Vii

Sandra asks…

Can Title VII override the employment environment and conditions detailed in a written employment contract bet

barry0912 answers:

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) cover all private employers, state and local governments, and education institutions that employ 15 or more individuals. These laws also cover private and public employment agencies, labor organizations, and joint labor management committees controlling apprenticeship and training.

An employment contract does not allow for or legalize any act of discrimination that is covered by Title VII. A contract can not set as an acceptable working environment any policy or procedure that tolerates or promotes discrimination. So to answer your question YES Title VII can and does override an illegal contract.

There are some exceptions to these laws for multi-national companies. The exceptions are few and each instance is looked at on it’s particular circumstances and merits.

David asks…

can Title VII override the employment environment and conditions detailed in a written employment contract?

barry0912 answers:

Not unless the employment contract is illegal or the language used in the contract is in direct contradiction to the Title VII.

Hi there,

a warm welcome to the Internet Marketing World. If you are serious about becoming an internet marketer and want to learn all the ins and outs starting with the basics I recommend that you join a training or coaching program. There are loads of them available in the internet, most of them are quite expensive though. I myself sell a coaching program for beginners and for advanced internet marketers. I am in the business since 2004.

I also offer a completely free IM eCourse for Newbies on my blog www.seo-coaching.net. You will get about 30 lessons. They will teach you everything you need to start your own online business. You should read and follow the lessons on a daily basis. So you would be ready to start with affiliate marketing within one month.

I know how hard it is at the beginning and there are a lot of scams out there trying to get your money. Be careful!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me on my blog. I will be happy to help you out.

All the best, Joachim

Your Questions About Internet Marketing

David asks…

i want to learn internet marketing ?

i want to get training of internet marketing but free of cost online training can some one help me?i have no idea about that…

Kindercold had some great advice. Beware though that with the Burn Marketing Method they do try to get you to buy into their monthly subscription.

There are some good sites out there with great information for sale. The trick is that you have to put in the work and time to make internet marketing work. I believe most people spend the money for these “systems” but, after reading all of the material and trying a couple of things, they stop and give up when they don’t get rich right away. It doesn’t work that way.

I belong to a membership site that has taught me a lot and given me some great tools. It has earned me a nice supplement to my normal income. I didn’t need to pay for the information, but it made the process of making money online so much faster then if I did all the research and trial and error on my own.

Having said that, there is a ton of information out there and it all just confuses most of us. What happens when you get a lot of varying info from different sources is “paralysis by analysis”. In other words you don’t do anything because you don’t know where to start. There’s just too much information.

I suggest that you go to the library and check out a book or two on internet marketing. Or go to the bookstore, buy a latte and read away. One of my favorite books is Moonlighting on the Internet by Yanik Silver. It gives a good overview of some different internet marketing avenues.

Good Luck

Vietnam websites about internet marketing?

I need to find some Vietnamese websites that deal with internet marketing, e-mail marketing, or simply community-based websites concerning Vietnam. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
Thanks for the info on how wired Vietnam is… apparently not that much. Too bad you couldn’t provide me with some websites…. 🙁

barry0912 answers:

I do Web promotions in the U.S. And I’m currently in Hanoi, Vietnam for my wedding and to spend some time with my new wife.

Vietnam’s Internet infrastructure is very new, and traditional online marketing techniques used in the states may not be as effective here. Most of the Viet households don’t have computers and most of the Internet usage is done at Internet cafes. Therefore, search engines and online ads don’t penetrate the population as deeply as in the U.S.

On the other hand, most everyone here has an E-mail address. That in mind, E-mail marketing could be a very powerful online promotion tool as it is in the U.S.

Your Questions About Internet Marketing Degree

Carol asks…

Web marketing?

Are there degrees/courses available in web marketing? And are they worthwhile? By web marketing i mean Search Engine Optimization and such..

barry0912 answers:

There are many SEO companies that offer training programs. In addition, some universities and institutions offer certificates in Internet Marketing or Internet Programming. However, the principles behind Business Management and Marketing are similar to Internet Marketing. That said, a conventional marketer cannot be successful in internet marketing without extensive knowledge and research of the ‘net.

So I would recommend you to visit seomoz.org, and other similar SEO blogs and websites, and read all of their articles, read their blogs, take their quizzes and tutorials. At the same time, a certificate in Internet Marketing or a Bachelor’s in Business is helpful to make you successful – but many successful Search Engine Optimizers and Marketers did not have any of these credentials, they learned from real life experience.

I did a certificate in Internet Programming and I won’t say it wasn’t worth it, but it was very expensive and in hindsight I shouldn’t have spent that much money on it. Be very careful of fraud schools like CDI.

Your Questions About Title Vii

John asks…

i need help please, i have to write a paper on scope of Title VII and its applications to the workplace?

these are the things that I have to cover any ideas on where to start, The history and evolution of Title VII,The impact of Title VII in the workplace Who is covered and not covered under Title VII and its amendments Policies that companies should have in place to avoid Title VII violations

barry0912 answers:

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 makes it unlawful for an employer to discriminate in hiring, firing, compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

In addition, it is unlawful to discriminate on any of these five bases in selection for apprenticeship, training, or retraining programs or to limit, segregate, or classify employees in ways which may deprive them of employment opportunities or adversely affect their status as an employee. It is also illegal to indicate preference or to discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in advertisements relating to employment.

Mark asks…

Is the “Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964” valid for ALL countries in the world?

Or does each country have their own set of laws for governing safety in work-place?

barry0912 answers:

First, that law you mentioned only applies to the USA.
Second, it’s NOT a “safety in work-place” law. It’s an anti-discrimination law.
