Your Questions About Low Cost Airlines

William asks…

Is there any low-cost airlines in mainland China to Beijing or Shanghai such as Ryanair and Air Aisa?

Is there any lowcost airlines in mainland China to Beijing or Shanghai such as Ryanair in Europe and Air Aisa in Southeast Asia?

barry0912 answers:

Fares are regulated so any carrier will do. Air china and shanghai airlines are star alliance so you can earn united miles with them. Airlines don’t have as much corruption problems since the central gvt is watching them real closely, especially air china, the flag carrier.

If u have the cash, go for first or business class, it’s only 1.5 and 1.3 times the coach price respectively. I flew business once on a flight that was 5 hrs delayed and getting to wait in the lounge and in the business cabin was so tranquil compared to the chaos of coach, an I only paid like $30 more than coach. It’s a whole new world flying business or first class, I tell ya.

David asks…

Why do low cost airlines go bust when they charge us fuel surcharges?

Another “low cost airline” has gone bust…reason quoted, the rise in the cost of fuel…can someone explain to me how this can be the case… when the airlines always expect us to pay the fuel surcharges!

Has anyone experienced a case where an airline has reduced the cost…because the cost of fuel went down??

barry0912 answers:

As they slap on the fuel surcharge (which they really have no choice to do in order to stay afloat), the net cost for the client is increased, thus reducing demand. Less demand, less sold tickets, less airlines in operation.

Sandy asks…

What is an Internet meme?

barry0912 answers:

Hello

In its most basic form, an Internet meme is simply an idea that is propagated through the World Wide Web. This idea may take the form of a hyperlink, video, picture, website, hashtag, or even just a word or phrase. This meme may spread from person to person via social networks, blogs, direct email, news sources, and other web-based services usually becoming viral.

An Internet meme may stay the same or may evolve over time, by chance or through commentary, imitations, parody, or even by collecting news accounts about itself. Internet memes can evolve and spread extremely rapidly, sometimes reaching world-wide popularity and vanishing all in a few days. They are spread organically, voluntarily, and peer-to-peer, rather than by predetermined or automated means.

Their rapid growth and impact has caught the attention of both researchers and industry.[3] Academically, researchers model how they evolve and predict which memes will survive and spread throughout the Web. Commercially, they are now actively used in viral marketing, seen as a free form of mass advertising. The Internet community itself has cultivated methods to encourage the generation and popularization of successful memes

hope it helps 🙂

Your Questions About Internet Marketing Jobs

Maria asks…

What are good but free work at home jobs?

im trying to find a job where i can stay at home and do stuff to keep my house picked up and concentrate on school. I need a job online and at home!

barry0912 answers:

Online jobs are not myths, but you will have difficulty doing it for free if you don’t know anything about the business already. If you’re serious about working online, I would suggest checking out a great internet marketing forum like www.WarriorForum.com

The people there are awesome and have helped me out tremendously. I have no affiliation to this site besides being a member there myself. I just signed up about a month ago and I wish I would have know about it when I started Internet Marketing 3 years ago!

Carol asks…

I need help on where to start for marketing consulting for a painting company?

I am lost on where to start. I feel like in order for me to consult, I would need to work full time on staff for this company. I really want to just consult and be able to work maybe 10 hours per week for the particular company, but do not know how it will work. He needs a marketing plan written, and then I need to implement and execute it. Should I tell him he needs to hire someone to fulfill the duties of this role?

barry0912 answers:

Hi Dan,

What a great opportunity. It sounds like fun.

If you have never created a marketing plan before I would suggest you find a template on the internet that you like and work with it. Fill it in. But you are the one who will need to come up with the creative and workable solutions.

If you do not know how to do any of that you have a few choices:

1. Hire someone like me to work with you and tell him you are working with a partner who has 20 years of marketing experience.
2. Tell him the truth and let him find someone else.
3. Tell him you are just too busy to take on the contract.
4. Fake it.

If you fake it he will probably know and you will lose the job and he will tell everyone he knows that you are incapable. Not a good thing. If you tell him that you are not able to do this he will tell everyone also.

I will put my website below. I can work with you from anywhere.

barry0912 answers:

Wii Internet

Online gaming is a market that no video game company wants to miss, and Nintendo is no exception. With that in mind, Nintendo not only designed the Wii to let players compete against each other online, but it also added an entirely different aspect of the Internet to its newest system-browsing. Once the Wii has been hooked up to the Internet, either wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable, you can purchase Wii Internet for $5. The full version of the Internet Channel, which is a version of the Opera 9 Web browser, was launched in April of 2007 and it allows Wii owners to surf the Web in a unique fashion. The font is much larger than it is on a computer, so it is a lot easier to see from the comfort of your couch. You can also zoom in and out and scroll up, down and sideways using the Wii remote.
The Wii Internet Channel takes only a few seconds to launch, mostly because it stays connected to the Internet even when it is powered off. The software is saved on the 512 MB Wii internal flash memory. The software can also be transferred to an SD card after you download it, although temporary Internet files will remain on the internal memory. The Opera-based browser can support a host of Web 2.0 technologies and applications including:
CSS
JavaScript
Ajax
RSS
Adobe Flash 7
Widgets
The biggest gripe about the Wii Internet Channel is that the browser does not support Adobe Flash 8 or 9. According to Opera, the reason that the browser does not support the later versions of Flash is that a software development kit is not yet available for either version. Because Opera utilizes an older version of Flash, problems may arise while you are trying to view certain Flash videos. Aside from the problems on the user’s side, Nintendo is also having a bit of trouble with the Wii Internet Channel. Apparently, hackers have found a loophole in the system that allows them to run their own code on the Wii console. The loophole is in the Flash Player embedded within the browser and could allow hackers to create video game emulators. That sounds like a great loophole, right? Not if you’re Nintendo. One of their potential moneymakers is the Virtual Console, which charges gamers between $5 and $10 for unlimited access to a retro title.

The Wii can use an Internet connection in more ways than just browsing. There are also free applications such as Wii’s News and Forecast Channels. The News Channel provides you with a view of the globe, which allows you to view news by region if you wish. The Forecast Channel also gives you a view of the globe, but this view also shows current weather systems around the world. If you zoom out far enough, you can see an accurate star map in the background. Since you register your Wii’s locations, it also knows what you’re looking for in the way of a local forecast.

Wii Accessories
The Nintendo Wii, like every other video game console, has some controller variations and other accessories available for serious gamers. Some of the accessories are very useful, while others merely add to the aesthetic value. Some examples of Wii accessories that fall into the “looks good, but not very useful” category are the plastic attachments for the Wii remote that make it look like a tennis racket, golf club or baseball bat. Nothing about the Wii or the game you’re playing changes — the attachments just transform your Wii remote into a prop. There are also boxing gloves that can house the Wii remote and Nunchuck. Just like the plastic attachments, these gloves don’t change anything about the game, except for the fact that you don’t actually have to hold onto the controllers.
