Your Questions About Low Cost Airlines

William asks…

Is there any low-cost airlines in mainland China to Beijing or Shanghai such as Ryanair and Air Aisa?

Is there any lowcost airlines in mainland China to Beijing or Shanghai such as Ryanair in Europe and Air Aisa in Southeast Asia?

barry0912 answers:

Fares are regulated so any carrier will do. Air china and shanghai airlines are star alliance so you can earn united miles with them. Airlines don’t have as much corruption problems since the central gvt is watching them real closely, especially air china, the flag carrier.

If u have the cash, go for first or business class, it’s only 1.5 and 1.3 times the coach price respectively. I flew business once on a flight that was 5 hrs delayed and getting to wait in the lounge and in the business cabin was so tranquil compared to the chaos of coach, an I only paid like $30 more than coach. It’s a whole new world flying business or first class, I tell ya.

David asks…

Why do low cost airlines go bust when they charge us fuel surcharges?

Another “low cost airline” has gone bust…reason quoted, the rise in the cost of fuel…can someone explain to me how this can be the case… when the airlines always expect us to pay the fuel surcharges!

Has anyone experienced a case where an airline has reduced the cost…because the cost of fuel went down??

barry0912 answers:

As they slap on the fuel surcharge (which they really have no choice to do in order to stay afloat), the net cost for the client is increased, thus reducing demand. Less demand, less sold tickets, less airlines in operation.

Sandra asks…

Good Internet and International Calling place near Nana BTS?

Sawassdee Krup.

I’m looking for a good place where I can check my emails and possibly make international calls back home. I know many of the internet cafe places also offer cheap overseas phone calls too.

My hotel is near the Nana BTS- not sure where the best internet cafe place would be.

Thanks for your help!

barry0912 answers:

There are many places around the Nana Skytrain area. Just walking around you will find them.

Near the Villa Market on Soi 11 are some internet shops.

Near the cross over after Soi 8, where the news stand is located is another internet shop (between bank and Soi 8.)

Near the cheap Happy Inn Hotel on Soi 4 (from Sukhumvit it is past the Nana Hotel same side) there is a place and just after that another place next to a Seven Eleven store. These places are reasonably priced for Bangkok.

Lots of places.

Good luck.

Thomas asks…

word of mouth.free newspapers.internet..any other free advertising?

P.S…..anybody want to buy property in Spain

barry0912 answers:

Yes, word of mouth, newspaper, electronics media like Zee news and star news executives are working round the clock to capture and highlight if you really have something to say. Internet itself includes a lot – social media communities, blogs, articles that are published free online. Online emerging communities are of great help to expand your horizon.

Social communities like myspace, you tube, face book, orkut are among very strong tools for free advertising. Google adsense is another free advertising, you provide free space on your website and let advertisers come to advertise on your website and you earn for this. Affiliate marketing also lets you earn without spending, just become an affliate website for your merchant.

Richard asks…

Internet Revolution???????

On the topic of Internet Revolution or Digital Revolution, is it possible if you can give me some internet sources? (links that talks about internet revolution through bbc, fox, mbc, ect)

I can find articles that explain WHAT internet revolution IS, but i can’t really find articles that talk about their opinions on internet revolution, like pros or cons. Thanks!

barry0912 answers:

Try a search like this using Google News:

“internet revolution” opinion

https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&gl=us&tbm=nws&q=internet+revolution+opinion&oq=internet+revolution+opinion&gs_l=news-cc.3..43j43i53.2755.6543.0.6825.27.10.0.17.1.0.147.1021.6j4.10.0…0.0…1ac.1.oYyXw4Gy97I#hl=en&sugexp=cpsugrccggmnoe&gs_rn=14&gs_ri=psy-ab&tok=_0bl2-O6mUsd9mEWNXQnCg&ds=n&pq=internet%20revolution%20opinion&cp=30&gs_id=40&xhr=t&q=%22internet+revolution%22+opinion&es_nrs=true&pf=p&gl=us&tbm=nws&sclient=psy-ab&oq=%22internet+revolution%22+opinion+&gs_l=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.46865395,d.cGE&fp=55b25e68d9baa2dd&biw=1366&bih=643

Your other best option would be to use your local public or college library databases (such as National Newspaper Core [Proquest], EBSCO Newspapers, Opposing Viewpoints, etc.)

It may help your search of the open Web or of the databases if you can use additional related keywords in your search. Words that might signify the *kind* of opinions you’re looking to find.
Globalization
free markets
online generation
freedom
outsourcing
specific country names
censorship
the list can be extended as far as your vocabulary and time to search allows

For more ideas and/or sources open a chat with a librarian near you.

Donald asks…

Who owns CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Wall Street Journal etc…?

and most other major purveyors of news that we digest here in the USA?

I am speaking of the actual people, the majority stock holders, the ones who have the power to shape an agenda or political leaning of a particular news source.

When you look at who the owners are, would you then say that the most such news organizations lean most towards being liberal or conservative….and what does this tell you about the news that we get?

Your Questions About Internet Marketing

George asks…

International Business or Internet Marketing?

I dont know which one I should make my major and my minor. I want to open up my own company and work with a company as well. I want to be able to build a start up from home and be able to travel whenever I want and be able to live anywhere and not have a job keep me in one place. I love both so I dont which one to focus on. Is there something I should pair one or the either with? Ideas and insight would be adored 🙂

barry0912 answers:

Both are great choices I’ve been doing internet marketing. I’d say international business for your major and internet marketing for a minor. In my opinion internet marketing would a great way to create some stream of income and use that as a source or stepping stone towards your international business ideas.

“The trouble is that most people really have no idea where to start. The average person flounders around for months, trying out this and that, skipping from one opportunity to another. That’s no way to make money. That’s just a surefire way to end up in the poor house!”

Hope I was of help 🙂

Good Luck
