barry0912 answers:

Yes Obviously…You need a good Internet Marketer to market your business to survive in this competitive SEO world.

Now a days, there are plenty of Internet marketing companies available in the market. Choosing one among the best is a critical job for you.

Here are questions that you might consider asking the SEO Consultant before choosing them for your business…

1. What are your opinions in regards to Best Practices for the SEO – Search Engine Optimization / SEM – Search Engine Marketing industry? How does a company effectively compete online using traditional optimization strategies?

2. Can you assure us that the marketing strategies and methods that you are utilizing fall under the criteria of Best Practices for the SEO/SEM Industry? Can we assume that this means no penalties for our website? Penalties could include, but are not limited to; removal from the search engines or directories index.

3. How many search engine marketing campaigns have you been involved with? What was your role for those projects? How many are still active? How many are inactive? If inactive, why?

4. Are there any guarantees for top search engine positions? The answer to this question will depend on whether or not you choose a Pay Per Click (PPC/CPC) Program from Google, Yahoo!, Live or Ask.

Depending on the competitiveness of your industry, guaranteed top search engine placement may be difficult and expensive to maintain. We recommend an ROI analysis prior to making a commitment.

5. Do you have experience managing Pay Per Click (PPC), Cost Per Click (CPC), and other keyword bid management campaigns? What types of programs, if any, do you use for PPC bid management?

6. What is link popularity? What linking strategies would you use to increase link popularity for our website? Is this service part of the proposed price? What types of websites will you target for link opportunities? What other target audiences are available in a link strategy campaign?

7. What is Google PageRank and how does it affect our website(s)? How would you address improving our PageRank with Google, and other search engines that calculate the number of quality inbound links to our website?

8. What changes can we expect you to make to our website to improve our positioning in the search engines? Will these changes be visible? Will there be changes in the coding of our website?

9. What type of reporting (website statistics/metrics) will you provide to us? How often will you provide those reports? Do you provide live statistics? Will you provide consultation on how to interpret the reports so that we have a basic understanding of the statistics?

10. Do you offer ROI (Return On Investment) analysis? Is this in addition to your contract pricing? Have the consultant explain the process of how the ROI will be determined. This type of ROI tracking may require strict participation by the employees of your company. You may need to address internal procedures first, before being able to successfully track ROI for your website.

How can I make my first affiliate commission today?

Hi I have been researching and reading books on internet and affiliate marketing for about 7 months and I have not “earned” one affiliate commission. I would be so happy if some one could give me a step by step make your first commission today proven method. I want to make this my “full time Job” can anyone help?

barry0912 answers:

Most people don’t make it in affiliate marketing, gurus will often tell you that too often people quit when they were on the threshold of success.

The fundamental thing is to reach many many prospects either by putting a lot of time and sweat into developing a site that ranks well in the search engines or by floating a good size budget in advertising. Yea there are techniques to select the best markets and products and to convert the most visitors into buyers, the roughest conversion guides suggest a rule of thumb conversion estimate of 1%, if one in 100 visitors to your site clicked a banner and 1 in 100 of those actually made a purchase from the sales page, it would require 10,000 visitors to your site per commission. Hopefully your site is more efficient, but it reminds you that it’s all a numbers game.

What jobs can I get with a Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management degree?

I have been out of college for about two years now and have worked a lot of random jobs like receptionist, gym member specialist, personal home cook, etc… -the kinds of jobs I don’t need a degree for. I graduated with a degree that is probably more geared toward consulting than a skill related field. What other kinds of jobs should I apply for?

My main passions are health, nutrition, psychology and public health.

barry0912 answers:

I find it ironic that you got a four-year degree in entrepreneurship/business management and didn’t mention anything concerning starting and running your own business. The brainwashing of us Americans into the template of automatically looking for jobs working for someone else is very strong. Unless, of course, you’ve already considered this and have no interest in this possibility.

As a business owner, you have total control of what you do and don’t do and your rewards when/if successful are virtually unlimited. And many businesses don’t require a lot of money to start. Plus it’s possible to get money in other ways other than out of your own pockets to start your business.

If you are interested, I would consider books written by Tyler G. Hicks. He has been writing books on this subject for many years (I recently got one with a copyright of 1966) and they are very good, IMHO. The only thing out of date seems to be the dollar examples he uses based on all the inflation over the years. He is still in business today. A number of people ding his books in reviews because he doesn’t take you through the whole process step by step and sometimes plugs his other materials, but I like him. I can virtually guarantee you’ll learn from his books. A true entrepreneur doesn’t need hand-holding. Just info, guidance, encouragement and options. I recently ordered a book of his entitled, “How to Build a Second Income Fortune in Your Spare Time” with a copyright of 1965, that I would very highly recommend to you in spite of its age. I’m only up to page 75 so far but it’s very, very good. I’m very glad I bought it.

I would suggest you go to Amazon.com or some other used book sellers on the internet and see if any of his books interest you and possibly get some ideas going in your head in the fields you are most interested in.

In school did you take coursework in business formation, business law, marketing and advertising? There are many good books on these subjects and I would use the reviews on Amazon.com to find the best ones to help you. Other business books on the subjects of interest and need to you to help you be super successful should also be considered. To look for good books on legal issues and the mechanics, I’d consider Nolo.com as an initial place to look. Their books are most often high quality, although some are of course better than others.

I am presently working on starting a nonprofit. It’s pretty hard to get fired when you’re the owner of the company. Plus, you can work at any job within your company as you desire. And switch around whenever you like. Or stay small and do it all. Or start off small and expand as you need or desire to. You can also start your business part-time while working a regular job until you start making way more money in your own business. Plus you can have more than one small business going at the same time if you’re so inclined.

My opinion is it’s pretty hard to beat the advantages and potential of the job of business owner. No matter what you do, it will build on your degree and experience in your field. That’s my suggestion.

Good luck, Lala. 🙂

Hi Daisy…consider contacting some of the area shelters in LA and ask them who offers discounted veterinary care for senior citizens.

American Animal Hospital Association
http://www.aahahelpingpets.org/home/
“The heartbreak happens all too often…a pet owner is unable to afford treatment and their sick or injured companion animal pays the price. If the owner is elderly, disabled or on a fixed income, the cost of care may be too much of a stretch for their pocketbook.
Perhaps they have been victimized by crime, property loss or a job layoff and are experiencing a temporary financial hardship…making it too difficult to afford pet care.
And some animals, brought to clinics by Good Samaritans, don’t have an owner to pay for treatment. Whatever the situation, the fact remains the same: When sick or injured animals are unable to receive veterinary care, they suffer. Through the AAHA Helping Pets Fund, veterinary care is possible for sick or injured pets even if they have been abandoned or if their owner is experiencing financial hardship.”

Our work is accomplished in conjunction with veterinary clinics across the country, eager to assist as many animals, and their owners, as possible. Our services range from financial aid to complete treatment to those pets and pet owners in need.”

Your Questions About Low Cost Dental Insurance

Thomas asks…

My family has health insurance but, no dental where can we go to get low cost dental insurance?

barry0912 answers:

You have five options with dental.

1. Go without insurance. If you have good teeth and just want the basics you probably don’t need any plan. A yearly cleaning and exam and even an occasional filling will cost you less without insurance.

2. Visit a local dental school. You can get many procedures done for a reduced price if you’re willing to let them practice on you.

3. Insurance – Depending upon the policy: cost $30-$60 per month. You pay a $50 deductible first, they have an annual maximum that they’ll pay per year of $750 – $1500, they have a waiting period up to 18 months for major work and then you’re paying 50% of the charges. Example – average cost for a root canal in my area is $829. With insurance you pay $414 after paying 18 months of premium (around $800 or $900). Advantage – you can use any dentist with most plans.

4. Discount plans – Cost – $5-$12 per month. No deductible, no annual maximum and no waiting periods. Also, hardly any dentists will accept the plan and when they do you MIGHT get a 10% discount, which is about the same discount you can get by paying cash. Example – average cost for a root canal in my area is $829. With discount plans you pay around $746. Be very wary of these plans because most are scams. The people that sell these plans have little or no knowledge about health & dental insurance and do not need a license to sell them. The plans are not regulated by the state so you have no recourse when you have problems. Some states are starting to ban these plans from being sold. Here is an informative link http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/west/2006/11/22/74554.htm concerning these plans.

5. Fee for Service discount plans – Cost $7-$15 per month. No deductible, no annual maximum and no waiting periods. Many dentist will accept the plan (check providers first before signing up with any plan). When you use the plan there is a set fee that the dentist will charge you. Example – average cost for a root canal in my area is $829. With fee for service plans you pay as little as $404.

I’m an insurance agent and my personal plan is the fee for service plan. I got mine here http://www.dpbrokers.com/default.aspx?locationid=20349 specifically the Aetna Dental Access plan but which one you get depends upon your area and comparing the fee schedule to find the best for what you need covered.

Steven asks…

where to find low cost dental insurance and can choose any dentist in Texas?

here’s the story
8 months ago, a little piece of my filling between front teeth fell out, i didn’t fell anything and it doesn’t look noticeable so i left it like that…
i think about 4 months later, one day i woke up and found the part above my lips, underneath my nose swollen. it makes my face looks different like i look like a gorilla or something.
and later that day on my upper front gum there was 2 purple pus
i was freaking out and asked my roommates they told me to take some penicillin that my mom bought in mexico, then poke the pus, drain and see if its blood or white stuff
so then i did, freaking out and scared to death and sanitize a thumbtack with vodka
and poke the crap out of my mouth put pressure on it let it drain totally
it was a lot of blood
few days after i kept taking penicillin the swellings are gone
i was too busy in school and working so i didn’t went to dentist immediately
and so on, it happened again this week
swellings are back but this time only on left side.
it came out a little pus today so far it’s white but i wonder if it’s gonna get bigger and became purple
i went to community dental clinic afternoon and my dentist tell me i got my tooth infected
i will need a root canal and fillings, he said it’s 70% possible to success
if he can’t save that tooth he will have to take it out!!!!
OMFG!!! WTF that’s my FRONT TOOTH!!
it’s gonna take 600 only for the root canal and if it didn work ill have to pay more for denture
i don’t have any insurance so i am begging to find a low cost dental insurance that doesn’t pick dentist for me to go to
( because they don’t accept dental plans and insurance has to be for any dentist)
i am a college student taking financial aid and loans to pay tuitions,my car and my rent
i’m working 2 jobs as babysitter and cashier that doesn’t make big money and no one’s there to support me.

I really need help!!! please please does anyone knows which dental insurance that’s not so expensive and is for any dentist in Texas? );

BTW I live in College Station

barry0912 answers:

You’re not going to find private dental insurance that pays out more than it costs. Between coverage limits, waiting periods, and copays (btw, it won’t pay more than $1,000 a year, and you have to have it a full year before having anything major done, and it will pay HALF of a root canal).

What you need to do, is find a local dental school. In College Station, that would be Baylor. You can get super low cost treatment, with a buncha students standing around watching.
