Your Questions About Internet Marketing Services

William asks…

Cheap Internet Service?

I am looking for a cheap internet connection. I have a laptop, but no availability to a phone line. My family is struggling with money right now and I cannot afford much more than $20 a month. If I could find something cheaper, that would be great. Does anyone have any ideas?

By the way, I’ve already browsed a little bit on search engines and I’m really hoping someone knows something that I don’t. In a free market society I would assume that, despite the obvious oligopoly problem, I would be able to find something affordable somewhere. Please help. Thank you.

How does the internet improve marketing?

I need Webiste Reference too..
Thanks..

barry0912 answers:

The internet has made marketing inexpensive when examining the ratio of cost to the reach of the target audience. Companies can reach a wide audience for a small fraction of traditional advertising budgets. The nature of the medium allows consumers to research and to purchase products and services conveniently.

Therefore, businesses have the advantage of appealing to consumers in a medium that can bring results quickly. The strategy and overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns depend on business goals and cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis.

barry0912 answers:

Cable broadband Internet service.
In large subscriber surveys, Cox receives the highest scores for performance, customer service and reliability among cable broadband ISPs. A cable modem is included for free if you install it yourself. Download speeds top out at 4.0Mbps compared to dial-up (50Kbps) and DSL (generally 1.5Mbps or 3.0Mbps). Subscribers to other Cox services can get a discount of $10 to $15 per month. Cox isn’t available in all markets; in that case, Earthlink cable also gets high scores.
• Earthlink cable
(*est. $42 per month)

>> Where to buy
Cable broadband ISP.
Earthlink ties with Cox as the best cable ISP, and is the best choice if Cox isn’t available in your area. Earthlink also gets high scores for overall customer satisfaction and reliability, though its technical support ratings have slipped in the last year. Earthlink includes a highly regarded spam filter, along with other security features. Speed is rated at 5.0Mbps, and a modem is free with self-installation. If neither Cox nor Earthlink is available in your area, Road Runner and Optimum Online cable services are close runners-up.
• SBC Yahoo DSL Pro
(*est. $22 for the first six months, $35 thereafter)

>> Where to buy
DSL Internet service.
Reviews say cable Internet service is faster than DSL, but DSL is usually less expensive. DSL is also available in several speed classes, so you can choose to sacrifice some speed for a lower monthly bill. Among DSL service providers, SBC Yahoo and Verizon get the highest ratings for reliability and overall customer satisfaction. Yahoo’s standard DSL gets up to 3.0Mbps downstream — comparable to most cable ISPs — yet Yahoo DSL costs less. Availability depends upon your local phone-service provider, since DSL works through existing phone lines. (SBC will soon change its name to AT&T as it completes a merger with that company.)
• Verizon basic DSL
(*est. $15 per month, 768Kbps download speed)

>> Where to buy
Budget DSL.
While most cable and DSL services reach download speeds of 3.0Mbps, Verizon’s new budget DSL has a maximum downstream speed of just 768Kbps. While much slower than other broadband, basic Verizon DSL service is still 15 times faster than a dial-up connection. And because it is DSL, your connection to the Internet is always on and it doesn’t tie up your phone line. While reviews say Verizon’s basic DSL service is nowhere near as fast as other broadband, its low cost makes it a compelling alternative to a slower dial-up ISP like AOL or Earthlink dial-up, both of which are more expensive.
• Earthlink dial-up
(*est. $22 per month)

>> Where to buy
Dial-up.
Earthlink tops nearly every review we found for dial-up Internet service, and it’s available just about everywhere. Reviews say Earthlink dial-up is easy to set up, has thousands of access numbers, and has a low call and Web-page failure rate. Its cost is average for an unlimited dial-up ISP, but if Verizon’s basic DSL is available in your area, Verizon is faster and less expensive.
• NetZero or Juno dial-up
(Up to 10 hours of free usage per month)

>> Where to buy
Free Dial-up.
If your needs amount to occasionally checking your e-mail or a little Web surfing, NetZero and Juno (which are owned by the same parent company) offer a free dial-up Internet connection for up to ten hours each month. In exchange for a free ISP, you’ll have to contend with permanent advertising on your computer screen. Once your ten hours are up, you’ll be charged about $10 a month for ad-free access.

Maria asks…

What is the best DVR on the market? I have cable with every HD channel available?

I am looking to find out what is the best and most feature rich DVR on the market. I would like to have features like commercial skip, ability to record multiple HD programs at once, easy to use and if possible the ability to record my programs to DVD. Do they make DVR/HD DVD player/DVD recorder all in one players? THANKS, give me a good thorough answer… I appreciate it!

barry0912 answers:

Hi jt2002champ,

We prefer TiVo because of simplicity of use. The schedule is always correct because it is updated every day. I can program TiVo to record from out of town over the Internet. TiVo learns what you like and recommends shows that you might like. Often times we never would have known they were on. You can program an entire season of a given series with a single click and TiVo never forgets. You can tell TiVo you like someone or something and it will locate shows for you. For example if you tell it you like John Wayne it will watch for and record anything he is on.

With my series 2 and series 3 TiVo’s I can transfer recordings to my computer, edit them if desired then record them to a DVD.

You can also allow TiVo to share pictures and music from your computer. It will play the music and slide shows on your TV.

I could go on and on about TiVo. There is one downside and that is the monthly (you can pay yearly if you want) fee.

The series 3 TiVo and the HD Tivo are your two HD choices. Both record two channels at once and both will take a cablecard so you don’t need a special tuner box for them.

To learn all about TiVo check their web site here – https://www3.tivo.com

Check the TiVo user forum here – http://www.tivocommunity.com

The TiVo Community Store often has good bargains for TiVo’s or accessories. Check them for current pricing along with your local Best Buy – http://store.tivocommunity.com/merchant….

You need either a phone line or internet connection for TiVo to download software updates and program information.

I hope this helps you make the best decision.

First of all your need to build lot of content first. Google changed their algorithm recently. Unless you have some decent unique content one your site, you won’t be able to rank it even with thousand of quality link

You can also do social bookmark, facebook fan page, onsite SEO. Try to find someone from similar forum to post on your forum. I have an Austin base internet marketing forum and i start with networking with other internet marketer in the area
